It is when, I was watching a Spanish channel, in Los Angeles, I noticed an Indian TV series, “Mahabarata” in Spanish.
First I thought it was with Latin actors, then as I continued to watch it, I realized that it was dubbed in Spanish.

My Latino friends, had been following the show for weeks, they were into it. That’s when I realized, the world potential for Sri Lankan films and TV series. Producers, of Sri Lankan films have many channels they could seek to enter the world markets. Expecially with the advent of digital broadcasting, the opportunities are there.

The American Film Market, will commence for a week in November, in Santa Monica a beach community in Los Angeles, Producers can exhibit, share booths etc.Sri Lankan productions offer the same elements any other productions offer, romance, action, comedy story line etc.
