The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Berlin and the Consulate General in Frankfurt have organized a preparatory conference for the CHOGM Business Forum from 5 to 11 September in Frankfurt.

Fifty leading companies with global recognition will be participating in the meeting with Neomal Perera, Deputy Minister of External Affairs, and Nivard Cabraal, Governor of the Central Bank, also taking part from Colombo.

“The purpose of the preparatory summit is to persuade leading business leaders in Germany to participate at the Commonwealth Business Forum, which is one of the most prestigious international business events conducted every two years on the margins of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) to be held from 12-14 November 2013 in Colombo,” the embassy said in a media release.
