HP debuts EliteBook Revolve convertible notebook tablet in Sri Lanka
View(s):HP recently added the EliteBook Revolve business tablet to its Sri Lankan portfolio of products. A unique feature of this device is that not only is it a tablet but it is also convertible, by pivoting the screen, into a touch-enabled notebook.
Further, according to HP’s launch statement; “With the ability to transform with the flick of the wrist to deliver a convertible computing solution to match any need, the HP EliteBook Revolve is designed for businesses that require both an ultrathin notebook and a touch-enabled tablet. Driven by the latest, third-generation Intel Core processors and optimised for Windows 8, the HP EliteBook Revolve offers the incredible performance and visuals of a full-power notebook alongside the flexibility of quickly switching to a tablet with a touch-enabled high-definition (HD) display”.
At the launch
Specifications for the newly introduced HP EliteBook Revolve include an 11.6-inch diagonal HD display, packed into a 1.36-kilogramme design, as well as an automatically adjusting screen orientation, brightness, etc., based on position, along with a full-sized, backlit keyboard and optional pen. The device also features a 720p HD4 camera, dual-microphone array, and SRS Pro Audio and CyberLink YouCam software. It is also encased in durable, scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and an all-magnesium chassis.
