Sri Lanka National Junior squash team leaves to Seoul Korea 18th February 2013 to take part in the 15th Asian Junior Team championship in Korea. Ravindu Laksiri of D.S. Senanayake College and National women champion Mihiliya Methsarani of Sirimavo Bandaranayake College have emerged top performers in trials retaining they superiority as junior National champions.
Squash Veteran Lakdasa Cooray and Mahesh Chandana are the coaches for the tour, while Mrs. Thamara Wanniarachchi of D.S. Senanayake College will be the lady chaperone.
President of the Sri Lanka Squash Federation Commodore Palitha Weerasinghe of (Sri Lanka Navy) attending 33rd Asian Squash Federation AGM, leads the contingent as the Team Manager.
Shamil Wakeel, Viduranga Udantha, Rashendra Rajaratne, Ravindu Laksiri, Naduni Gunawardene, Sanduni Gunawardane, Gayara Jayasuriya, Mihiliya Methsarani will represent Sri Lanka. Mrs. Thamara Wanniarachchi (Lady Chaperone), L. Cooray (Coach), Commodore Palitha Weerasinghe (Manager), V.S.M. Chandana (Coach) are the officials.
