‘Suba Saha Yasa’ on stage
View(s):‘Suba Saha Yasa’, the greatly adored drama of writer and playwright Simon Nawagaththegama will go on the boards at 3.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. on November 16 at the Lionel Wendt.
Renowned artistes Sriyantha Mendis, Nihal Fernando, Kusum Renu, Kumara Thirimadura, Wasantha Wittachchi, Samadara Ariyawansa, Amaradasa Thalgahagoda, Thiwanka Nayomi, Rathna D. Nambuge, Upul Mahanama, Premakumara Dassanayake, Sujeewa Priyalal, Nimal Jayasinghe and W. Namal play in the drama.
Wasantha Wittachchi handles the make up whilst Stanley Omar will supply the music for the drama. Stage management will be handled by Ashoka Samayawardena and Stage setup and accessories designs by Lionel Bentharage. Costume designs are by Danapala Bogodage and Kamalkanthi Bogodage whilst Upali Weerasinghe will add more with his illumination effects. The play is organized by Jude Srimal.
