A scintillating mix of modern and Latin American dance will be on the stage at the Bishop’s College auditorium on August 19 when ‘Ballroom Kids’ of ADC (Antonio’s Dance Circle) present ‘Light up the Stage’.

This dance extravaganza is being held primarily to raise funds for the 13 couples of the Ballroom Kids who are hoping to participate at the Crystal Ballroom championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 26. The show also marks the silver jubilee of Toni Fernandez, well known as a leading ballroom dancer who will delight his fans with an exhibition of ballroom dancing.

In his 25 years as a dancer, Toni has trained many youngsters and Ballroom Kids is the brainchild of his wife Michelle, herself a skilled dancer and teacher. With some 60 children aged between 8 and 16 training under them, the show promises to unveil the future generation.

Those interested in tickets for ‘Light up the Stage’ could call Michelle on 0713266581 or Tammy on 0779828429.
