Squash Federation to conduct ASF Level 1 Coaching Course

The Sri Lanka Squash Federation, which is about to launch a National Junior Development Program in preparation for the high demand expected, has made plans to conduct an ASF Level 1 Certificate Coaching Course commencing 04th week of June 2009.

The five-day coaching course will be conducted by Sri Lankans qualified as Level 1 Instructors certified by the Asian Squash Federation namely Wg. Cmdr. (Retd) Ranjan Samarasinghe, Mrs. Yasmin Zarook and Col. Tissa Jayasuriya.

This course which will be held at the Tamil Union Squash Complex will include lectures and practicals. Those qualified are expected to train juniors etc up to Club / District Level.

All former Squash players over the age of 18 years, PTIs of Schools, Services with some knowledge of Squash could apply on or before 15th June 2009 to: Mr. Ravi Gunaratne, Hony.
