SriLankan flights to Mumbai as usual

Sri Lankan Airline flights to Mumbai are operating as usual with today’s scheduled flight left the Bandaranaike airport in the morning and returned without any complications, Media Relations Officer for Sri Lankan Airlines, Ms. Ruwini Jayasinghe said.

She said as the Mumbai airport was operational the flights from Colombo were not affected.

“There has not been any changes in tomorrow’s scheduled flight to Mumbai either”, she added.

Meanwhile a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry said they were in the process of checking whether any Sri Lankans were affected in Mumbai where over 100 persons have been killed in an unprecedented multiple attacks by terrorists..
