Colombo stocks fall on thin turnover

Colombo stocks, once again as seen in recent weeks, saw indexes fall at Monday’s close after marginal gains in the morning, brokers said.

“It was a dull trading day with only Rs 70 million in turnover,” Thakshila Hulangamuwa, Vice President Asha Phillip Securities said. The All Share Index lost 14.69 points to 1,655.19 while the Milanka dipped by 21.55 points to 1,848.71 at stock market close..
