Colombo indices slightly up; doubtful trend

Colombo stocks, mirroring yesterday’s trend, were slightly up on Tuesday morning, but analysts said this trend may not sustain throughout the day. “It is somewhat doubtful whether the indices will be sustained at the same momentum during the day,” a stock broker said.

The All Share Index was up by 3.83 points to 1,790.92 while the Milanka increased by 4.34 points to 2,007.28 in early trades. The turnover was at Rs 20 million..
