World crude prices fall further

World crude prices fell further on Tuesday to $83.97 per barrel from $85.15 yesterday as markets across the region also reacted negatively to the US financial crisis, according to Central Bank figures. The OPEC basket fell to $81.57 on Tuesday from $86.37 on Monday.

In the Singapore Refined Products market, petrol fell to $91.60, kerosene to $95.80 and diesel to $99.85. .
