Two lorries collide at Aluthgama

A police officer and a driver were seriously injured following a lorry accident at the Aluthgama-Moragolla check point at 4.20am today.

A lorry which was stopped for inspection at the checkpoint had been knocked by a another lorry which had come in a high speed injuring the officer who was inspecting and the driver also was seriously injured and admitted to the Nagoda hospital.
