'Prabhakaran' goes to Europe

Controversy-ridden film, 'Prabhakaran' is on a successful run in Rome and 25 theatres around Europe, the debutant film producer Osmand de Silva told the TV Times. The producer himself a domicile in Italy for the last two decades revealed this, speaking about the successful run in Italy.

Many of us still may not know that we can proud of one Sri Lankan who is an internationally renowned film star, TV star, producer, director and a writer in the west. Many of us thought he was an Indian Sikh, because he became popular in the sit com series 'Mind your language' as Ranjeet Singh in the late 70s.
 
‘Kuwera Wara’ revolves around an ambitious man
‘Kuwera Wara' the latest miniplay scripted by award-winning writer and novelist Sumithra Rahubaddha introduces choreographer and dancer Chandana Wickremasinghe in a leading role. Directed by Premakumara Jayawardene the miniplay is produced by Hasitha Thalagampola and Sumithra Rahubadda herself.
