Celebration of talent

A Ray of Hope scheduled for December 22, 2007 at 7pm at the Bishops College Auditorium will feature a combination of world famous artists who have done Sri Lanka proud.

Soul Sounds: The premier all female choir with two silver medals at the World Choir Games in the categories of Gospel and Spiritual and Scenic Folklore, Revelations: The all Thomian ensemble with the Gold Medal for Gospel & Spiritual category, Silver in the Sacred Music category and a Gold Diploma for emerging champions in the open male vocal ensemble category at the Asian Choir Games.

The event will also feature Bertram Charles of the duo CharlesMark that bagged the best singer statuette at the International Festival of Pop, Devashri de Silva a former Karaoke Champion, Flame: A vocal band that has lifted the spirits of many for nearly two decades with timeless classics and Ronny Leitch who needs no introduction with his world renowned style of humorous entertainment, teamed with Neranjan de Silva and Christopher Prins who will add to the revelation of sound within the soul.

A different flavour for the evening with a new script written by Ruwanthi de Chickera who has shared the Gratiaen Award will be brought to life as well. Niroshinie Nayagam, the dynamic compeer together with these well-known artists of Sri Lanka, will weave an evening of entertainment that is not to be missed! All these artists have joined together for a celebration of talent and to spread a ray of hope, for one cause which is to support the adult fellowship of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels, Colombo 3 with their social service projects across the country.
