Film Festival in TV Lanka

Celebrating its 6th anniversary TV Lanka, plans to telecast a festival of Sinhala films throughout the month of December. Starting from Tuesday December 4 until January 1, the film festival titled "Cinema Sanakeliya" will be telecast every Tuesday and Saturday at 9 pm.

The films are provided by W. Walter Fernando of New Cinema Films, Wennappuwa and the list of the films that are scheduled to be telecast are "Cheerio Sergeant" ( Joe Abeywickrema and Dilhani Ashokamala) on Dec 4, "Yali Hamuwennai" (Gamini Fonseka, Sriyani Amerasena and Sabitha Perera), on Dec. 8, "Saravita" (Joe Abeywickrema, Jeewarani), "Induta Mal Mitak" (Malanee Fonseka and Ravindra Randeniya), Dec 18 "Hai Baby Hai", on Dec. 22 "Ektem Ge" (Malani Fonseka, Ravindra Randeniya and Joe Abeywickrema), on Dec 29 "Akka Nago" and on January 1 "Mamai Raja" (Vijeya Kumaratunga and Sabeetha).
