HNB wins women’s Six-a-Side Cricket

Hatton National Bank – Matale branch emerged women’s Six-a-Side Cricket Champions at the HNB Central region ‘Sports Fiesta’ held recently at the Bernard Aluvihare Staduim - Matale.

Teams from twelve HNB branches in the Central province participated in this sports meet organized and conducted by the HNB regional office (Central Province) for the members of the ‘HATNA’ Family HNB, Matale beat HNB, Kandy by 4 runs in the final. Batting first HNB - Kandy made 38 runs in their allotted overs to which HNB - Matale replied with 42 runs. For Matale HNB Skipper Devini De Silva top scored with 28.
