Three key professionals tackle Professionalism and ethics

The ACCA National Conference next week on the theme, ‘Creating the DNA of Tomorrow’s Professional’, will have the expert input of three leading professionals in transforming the theme from rhetoric to a practical interactive learning ground, the organizers said.

With the Chief Executive of Dialog Telekom Dr Hans Wijayasuriya having set the tone as keynote speaker to this rollout of the ACCA global series on Professionalism & Ethics, the technical sessions will be led by Cranfield School of Management’s Senior Lecturer in the Policy Strategy and Performance Group Ruth Bender, Executive Vice President of WNS Global Services and Managing Director of WNS Sri Lanka Dushan Soza and Executive Vice President of John Keells Holdings Krishan Balendra.

The speakers intend to address the new skills and values that tomorrow’s professionals need to be equipped with in order to be a success in the rapidly evolving business environment, which has essentially created an interlinked inter-dependent global marketplace.

Practical case studies, personal experiences and key learnings will also study the relationship between ethical leadership and sustainable profitability that creates an organizational culture for professionalism to thrive.
