Venora opens new factory in Piliyandala

Venora International Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of electrical items and accessories, this week, announced the opening of its new electrical switchboard assembling plant at Piliyandala.

The company provides integrated electrical services under one roof, offering a variety of solutions and protective measures for electricity related problems whilst specializing in lightning conductors and surge protectors.

It utilizes the knowledge of specialized engineers from universities and recognized technical institutions. The company is equipped to provide comprehensive solutions from the planning stage up to wiring and servicing.

Venora Ltd imports electrical components from Europe, integrates with local technology and creates a superior product for the Sri Lankan market. In addition it also sells assembled Venora switchboards to other countries. Venora Ltd currently provides services to leading companies in the garment, tea and tourism industries and also operates in Maldives and Seychelles, the company said.
