New menu for Aquarius

Benji and Aquarius', one of the popular club bands now performing in the Gulf Region, is back in town for a short holiday. The band is having its stint at the 'Qube' of Ramada Plaza in Doha, Qatar. 'Qube' is Doha's very first and its largest entertainment bar.It can accommodate more than 2000 people at any given time.

'It was mainly the young scene and we played mostly current music. Hip hop, Club and Dance floor music. But when we return, we will change our venue. New club Orion will be the new action place for us' said Benji , when he visited TV Times last week.

'Orion' is a new rooftop Club at the same hotel and it will be a different scene when it comes to music.

'This new rooftop bar will be for a more mature crowd and we will be playing retro music exclusively. This new venture definitely will be a challenge for us. We will be playing all the great music from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's era. There won't be any songs from the new millennium' he explained.

'Benji and Aquarius' now comprise nine members. Benji (base and vocals), Shiran (drums), Gavin keyboards and sax), Danusha (guitar) and Rafi on keyboards. There are four Filipino girls doing front line singing and dancing.

Most probably we will be back home for the Christmas season. We are really looking forward to play at a New Year bash. That is what we miss so much' Benji said
