Horse Races at the Nuwara Eliya

The Sri Lanka Turf Club is organizing Horse Races for the festive season on 1st, 7th, 14th and 21st April 2007 at the Nuwara Eliya Race Course from 10.00 am onwards. The "Governor's Cup" will be the main event. It will be held on 14th April 2007 and as usual there will be a fashion show and several fashion models will be parading at the Nuwara Eliya Race Course. Following are the races:

"Labookelle Cup" sponsored by Mackwoods on 1st April, "Upali Wijewardene Kandos Cup" sponsored by Ceylon Chocolates Ltd on 1st April, "Nescafe Cup" sponsored by Nestle Lanka Ltd on 7th April, "Sporting Times Trophy" sponsored by E.W. Balasuriya & Co on 7th April, "Sumathi Cup" sponsored by U.W. Sumathipala & Sons on 7th April, "Sunquick Cup" sponsored by Scan Products on 21st April.
