‘MAFF’: Fusion at its best!

'Mahesh and Friends in Fusion' popularly known as 'MAFF' is the latest name in the Colombo club circuit. 'Mahesh and Friends in Fusion' are no strangers to the modern music scene in Sri Lanka more familiar to their fans as the Sirasa Super Star band, these mature and experienced musicians have now come together to brew a mix of old, new and re-mixed sounds to tantalize the generation of hip hop and house fans.

Combining alternative Rock, Jazz, Pop, Punk, Latin, Bhangra and RnB grooves high lightened and enhanced by beats varying from tribal to modern hip-hop, 'MAFF' bring together vivid combinations from electric Violins to Kandyan Drums, Djembaes, Piano, Electric Guitars to Trumpets, and perform 'FUSION' - the first and best ever yet.

The dedicated and talented band include Mahesh Denipitiya raising the cresando's on Keyboards, Billy Fernando multi tasking on guitar, drums, trumpet and vocals, Rakitha jamming ethnic and Latin percussions, Ruwan blending melodies from both east and west on violin and vocals, Riza kicking in the beat on drums and Latin Percussion and Devashri topping the cake with her beautiful renderings.

MAFF although specializing in shows and concerts also perform at private functions including weddings, dances and cocktails.
