Lunch time fun at Clancy’s

Everybody knows Clancy's as one of the popular night spots in town. But little known is Clancy's is a popular lunch destination too.

Apart from its late night parties with all top bands in town, Clancy's get really busy during lunch time too. Executives and expats from most of the diplomatic missions and offices come for their lunch at Clancy's. They love Irish favourites and English specialties.' said Ryan Canagasaby, the Manager Marketing.

Lunch menu includes 'Gaelic Chicken', Beef 'n' Guiness Stew, 'Irish Mutton Stew', 'Devilled Prawns with Saffron Rice'.

'Spiral Pasta with Chicken and Tomato Sauce', 'Fettuccine Carbonara', 'Penne Pasta with Vegetable and Cream Sauce', 'Fish 'n' Chips, 'Clancy's Club Sandwich', 'Chicken or Beef Burger with French Fries', 'Baked Potatoes with choice of garlic butter, Chilli con carne, cheddar cheese, sour cream or herb butter', 'Bailey's Cheese Cake', and 'Apple Pie' are some of the popular Pasta dishes and desserts.

Irish specialties at lunch are also in demand, according to Ryan. 'Corned Beef and cabbage', 'Sautéed corned beef wrapped in tender steamed cabbage leaves', 'Shepherd's Pie', 'Spiced brown cooked with diced veggies, capped with creamed potatoes' , 'Cottage Pie', 'Oven roasted chicken and vegetables in a rich creamy sauce, topped with mashed potatoes' and 'Beef in Stout' are some of the Irish dishes.

This tasty beef stew is marinated in stout, served with carrots, red onions and boiled potatoes, 'Irish Stew', Neck of lamb cooked with spring vegetables and cubed spuds.

Served with fresh home baked bread' are some of the favourites of lunch time.‘These items are available for dinners too’ Ryan said. Every Sunday during our All Star Jazz Jam fans can enjoy a traditional Sunday roast of Beef, Chicken or Pork with roast potatoes, beans, carrots and cabbage with all the traditional accompaniments’ he added.
