Ronny Ibrahim to coach Thomians at Rugby

Former Kingswood player and head coach Ronny Ibrahim will be ending his 3-year stint with his alma mater when he props up with the Thomian Rugby in 2007.

Ronny who turned out for Kingswood in 1983-86 led the side in his last year. Ibrahim family consists of 5 where all of them played top-level school rugby with 4 of them leading the college outfit. His younger brother Nilufer is still in his rugby boots playing for the champion Kandy SC and Sri Lanka.

Ronny was the assistant coach for the Rugby Asiad in 2005 in Lahore Pakistan. He was under George Simpkin in that tour.
