By Bernie Wijesekera

The Western Province Rugby Football Union came out with another first when they decided to launch an under-19 rugby tournament among the International Schools situated in the Western Province.

The WRFU’s vice president and the spokesman Wimal Senanayake airing his views to the Sunday Times after their AGM held at the Havelocks Sports Club on Thursday said that a host of schools have shown their keenness to take part in a tournament of this nature. He also added that a lot of expatriate children who are studying in these schools also would add more flavour to the tournament.
