Cyber crimes at ST Business Club monthly meeting
Cyber crimes and the proposed new telecom regulations will be the focus of this month’s meeting of The Sunday Times Business Club on Tuesday, January 31 at 6.30 pm at the Trans Asia Hotel.

The guest speaker is Sumathi Dharmawardena, Senior State Counsel at the Attorney General’s Department who would discuss these issues and the benefits to society.

He is an adviser to the government in drafting the Cyber Crimes Act of Sri Lanka and also advised the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka on Interconnection and International gateway Liberalization process and Regulatory matters.

An open discussion will follow after that. Trans Asia Hotel is the main sponsor of the Business Club while Lion Brewery is the co-sponsor.
