CMCC Diner Dance at Galadari
A Dinner Dance at Galadari Hotel on November 26 will be the main attraction of Colombo Malay Cricket Club in their fund raising project.

Founded in 1872, the Colombo Malay Cricket Club is the oldest Ceylonese Cricket Club in Sri Lanka. Formed with the objective of promoting cricket, the club in its over 133 years of existence has also branched off into other sports including hockey and netball.

The club today participates in cricket tournaments conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket while the hockey and netball teams engage in tournaments organised by the Sri Lanka Hockey Federation and the Sri Lanka Netball Federation respectively.

The Colombo Malay Cricket Club is endowed with a fine cricket ground and also a pavilion located at Jalang Padang Colombo 2, popularly known as the Padang Complex.

With a view to raising funds to upgrade the facilities, the Club is organizing a mega dance at the Galadari Hotel featuring top bands and musicians.
