Central Bank to borrow Rs 8.5 bln in March
The Public Debt Department of Central Bank plans to issue Rs. 8.5 billion worth of Treasury Bonds for the month of March 2005.

The first auction in March 2005 for Rs. 4 billion Treasury Bonds will be held on March 4, 2005 with the settlement on March 9. Further, Rs. 30.7 billion out of maturing Rs. 32.9 billion Treasury Bills will be re-issued during the month.

The proposed auction amounts may get further reduced, based on expected revenue and foreign fund inflows, a Central Bank statement said.
