Gulf Air to pull out in March?
Gulf Air is likely to pull out of Sri Lanka next month due to a drop in the incoming load factor from Abu Dhabi to Colombo, travel trade sources said.

Gulf Air sources said there is talk 'in the air' about the pullout but nothing is definite as yet. They confirmed that there is a drop in incoming loads and said the company is also short of aircraft. "We are short of aircraft, because once in five years we have to be send these aircraft for check ups," one source said.

Gulf Air flies only from Abu Dhabi and back but is one of the oldest foreign airlines here actually and is marking its 25th anniversary in the Abu Dhabi-Colombo sector.
