‘Why’: Sunil asks the question
‘Why (Eyi) I don’t know why’? is the latest question asked by Sunil Perera of the Gypsies. Their new album ‘Why’ is now the top attraction in the music world. ‘Why, I don’t know Why’ is a Torana production.

The new CD comprises fifteen new songs sung by Sunil and his band Gypsies. The, title song ‘Why’ is followed by ‘Gini Anguru Gode’, ‘Hare Rama’, ‘Lankawe Ape Lankawe’, ‘Oba Kemathinam’, ‘Hamadama Wenne’, ‘Perum Puragena’, ‘Nadayo’, ‘Adaredo’, Kiyanne Gothala’, ‘Amma’, “Maina Koba’, ‘Kelle’, and ‘B My Valentine’.

The songs were penned by Chandradasa Fernando, Maxi Jayavi, Hemasiri Halpita, Ajantha Ranasinghe, Mahesh de Silva and Piyal Perera. The music for all songs provided by the Gypsies and the music arrangements were by Sunil Perera, Piyal Perera and Mahesh Silva.

Mariazelle Gunathilaka, Radhika, Kumar Peiris, Rukantha Rukshan and Dileep Gabadamudalige helped in voicing and music. The album is dedicated for Mrs. Doreen Perera, the mother of Sunil and Piyal. Why is digitally mastered at Torana recording studio and the production coordinator was Rajiv Sebastian.
