Layton Cup boxing on June 15

The Amateur Boxing Association of Sri Lanka has decided to conduct the Layton Cup Boxing meet from June 15 to 18 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.

Well over twenty clubs including, Sri Lanka Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Prisons, Slimline, Unichela, Seevali, Veyangoda, Kalutara, Nugegoda, Pilimatalawa Boxing Clubs and Vidyartha, Royal, Kingswood are expected participate in this tournament.

A.K.G.K. Sameera of Unichela S.C. won the Layton Cup last year. All senior Boxers and those boxers who qualified themselves at the recently concluded qualifying meets will compete for top honours. Those participants who attend this meet will also get an opportunity to participate at future International meets.
