International University of Fundamental Studies
International University of Fundamental Studies is a non-profit making university at St. Petersburg, in Russia and listed as one of the major civic universities working together with Russian state universities to offer International degree qualifications. In 1998, the IUFS was recognized by the Russia's Ministry of Education - State Committee for Higher Education & Science, St.Petersburg, Russia.

It is a member of the International Academy of Information, Communication, Control in Engineering Nature and Society and US National Academy of Higher Education - Association of Distance Learning Programmes (ADLP), USA, Educational Quality Accrediting Commission, Madrid, Spain, and International Inter academic Union, Moscow.

The IUFS is internationally accredited and affiliated to the Oxford Educational Network and International University Accrediting Association, CA, USA. with UNESCO Registration. Rev. Prof. Shanti P. Jayasekara, D.D, Ph.D., Ed.D., J. D., D.Sc., - Theologian (USA) - Professor in Satellite Television Systems - Academician (Russia) - Astronaut - Cosmonautics Federation of Russia, is the founder, Rector and Chancellor of IUFS. IUFS offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes to those who possess a high degree of knowledge and expertise in a specific career or academic field.

Some of the religious programmes offered by IUFS include Bible Studies, Buddhism, and Islamic Studies. Doctor of Divinity, Jurist - Doctor Theologian degrees can be earned with direct registration with the University of London or International Theological University, CA, USA.
