‘Sand Castle’: Yet another love story
Sand Castle - ‘Pulina Prasaadha’ is based on a popular romantic novel ‘Chathurika’ by Chandi Kodikara. The telescript is by Sanjaya Vithanage for Swarnavahini.

‘Pulina Prasaadha’ is a story about the advertising and fashion industry.
This 23-episode teleplay is telecast every Tuesday at 9.00 pm.
Madhurika (Nadeesha Hemamali), an upcoming fashion model finds a job opportunity for Chathurikaa (Sasanthi Jayasekera), her elder sister in an advertising agency named Media WTC owned by Thejaan Iddamalgoda (Pradeep Senanayake).

Chathurikaa meets Milan (Roshan Ravindra Rajapakse) a colleague in the office and falls in love while Madhurikaa has a relationship with Nipuna (Buddhika Jayaratne) who is the husband of Anushi (Indika Upamali), the younger sister of Thejaan.

Thejaan ends the wavering relationship he had with Pradeepaa (Ramani Siriwardena), a marketing consultant for personal reasons. Thejaan declares his love for Chathurikaa at his birthday party while Milan is out of the country for ‘his sister’s wedding in Australia. When Milan gets to know this he reacts and Chathurikaa turns to Tejaan whom she sees as the saviour of the crisis.
Nipuna and Madhurikaa decide to live together but Anushi keeps aloof in the matter.

Thejaan acquires a large clientele and commissions while Nipuna loses business which makes Madhurika to feel insecure with him in her future.
Raajitha (Nilhaan Seneviratne), a successful designer meets ambitious Madhurika and persuades her to leave Nipuna. Anushi sister of Thejaan seeks a divorce from Nipuna, in order to keep him away from business and family too.
Nipuna, being the loser plans to have acid thrown at Madhurika and also threatens Thejaan and Anushi.

Art director of ‘Pulina Praasaadha’ is Mangala Fernando with Daya Puncihewa as editor. Music score is written by Navaratne Gamage. The producer is Bandula Weerakkody and Senesh Dissanayake Bandara is the director.
