New look at CWC’s Kotmale proposals
The Government has agreed to hand over the Ceylon Workers Congress proposals on the Upper Kotmale project to a newly appointed consultant to the project after the CWC had initially lodged its protest over his appointment.

Two weeks ago the Cabinet proposed the appointment of a foreign consultant to the project following a delay in its implementation due to protests from the CWC. However the CWC had objected to the appointment unless the consultant first studied the CWC proposals.
