Charley’s Aunt in October
A classic ever-green farce set in Oxford, an era ago is what the Bishop’s College Past Pupils’ Association will bring to audiences in early October.

‘Charley’s Aunt’ will go on the boards at the Bishop’s College auditorium on October 4 and 5. It consists of a multi-talented cast of young experienced theatre people with the female roles being played by past pupils.

The story revolves round the imminent visit of Charley Wykeham’s aunt from Brazil, Donna Lucia, which provides an excuse for undergrads, Charles and Jack to invite their young ladies to meet her.

When a telegram arrives postponing Donna Lucia’s visit, they persuade their amiable friend Babbs (since they must have a chaperone) to impersonate the aunt - and the fun begins! So keep a date with ‘Charley’s Aunt’ the first weekend of October.
