Teaming up at SriLankan

SriLankan Airlines is expected to unveil its financial results this week after what points to have been a good year for the airline when much of the rest of the industry went through a tough time. The national carrier has recovered from the July 2001 terrorist attack in which half its fleet was destroyed. The airline has made a special effort to project those who played a key role in its successful performance - its staff - in the annual report, the cover of which is pictured here. "We were keen on a visually attractive, vibrant, full colour, professional report to make it attractive to pick up and read. Moreover, we have a concept this year that is attractively depicted visually: the fact that we are not just another airline, but that we are different, we stand out in a crowd," said Chandana de Silva, the airline's Head of Corporate Communications.
