Communicating by candle-light!

Two men use a candle to take a call from an unlit payphone booth. The surviving payphone operator, Tritel, says the industry has collapsed for lack of government support and exorbitant charges. Most booths are unlit because Tritel cannot afford the Rs. 50,000 fee per booth charged by the Ceylon Electricity Board to provide a connection. (See also Page 15 for connected story).
