Day-light bank heist in Moratuwa

Two armed persons stormed a semi-government owned bank and removed Rs. 700,000 plus on the busy Galle Road in Moratuwa a short while ago, police said.

They said the two persons wearing motorcycle crash helmets had entered the bank and emptied the cashier’s till at gun point before fleeing on am motorcycle.
