Australia beat South Africa to advance to the final of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup after their semi-final clash played at Tony Ireland Stadium in Townsville, Brisbane today (21).
Under home conditions, Australia chose to bowl first and restricted South Africa to 191-8.
Murray Coetzee top scored for South Africa with a 76-ball 50 while Mark Steketee took three wickets.
Australia reached the winning target after losing six wickets with nine balls remaining after opener Cameron Bancroft hit a solid 66 off 133 balls.
