The sacred Kapilawastu Relics of Lord Buddha were brought to Sri Lanka in a special aircraft on Suday and placed at theManelwatte Viharaya in Kelaniya for public worship.
Large crowd have gathered at the temple to worship the sacred relics. They will be displayed at the temple till Tuesday (August 21). Captured here are devotees who have travelled from towns as far as Moneragala to worship the relics.
