SL vs Ind: Sri Lanka chase 295

India set Sri Lanka to chase a challenging 295 after electing to bat first in the fifth and final ODI which is underway at Pallekele today (4).

India lost their top three wickets at regular intervals but half centuries from opener Gautam Gambhir (88), Manoj Thiwary (65) and skipper MS Dhoni (58) took India to a feasible 294-7.

Fast bowler Lasith Malinga took 3 for 64 while Nuwan Pradeep claimed two wickets.

Today, Sri Lanka will be led by Angelo Mathews as Mahela Jayawardene and left-arm spinner Rangana Herath have been rested for the game.

Chamara Kapugedara and off-spinner Sachithra Senanayake will replace the two slots.

For India Ajinkya Rahane will replace Virender Sehwag who is deemed as unfit.
