A Pakistani national was nabbed at the Bandaranayake International Airport (BIA earlier today while attemting to smuggle into the country a sizeable quantity of Heroin concealed on his person, officials said.
They said the man who had arrived on a scheduled flight from the Pakistani city of Karachi had swallowed a total of 42 Heroin pellets.
The drug was later retrieved following medical treatment at the Negombo Hospital, the officials said.
