The Colombo bourse opened the week on Monday, on a slow sentiment, similar to what was witnessed during the whole of last week, analysts said.
Turnover was at a dismal Rs 125.14 million.
"The market showed low activity today as investors were generally taking a ‘look and see’ approach. We are currently seeing a period where turnover levels are low and the indices move marginally from their previous close," an analyst said.
The All Share Price Index (ASPI) slid 0.07% (3.58 points) over last week’s close to end at 4,925.06 whilst the Milanka edged up marginally by 0.02% (0.98 points) to end at 4,360.66. The S&P SL 20 witnessed a trivial drop of 0.05 points over last Friday’s close to close at 2,796.46 points. (DEC)
