Afghanistan stunned Bangladesh to record a comfortable 7-wicket win and qualify for the semi-final stage from Group B of the ACC Under-19s Asia Cup competition match played at Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur last Tuesday (26).
Afghanistan who qualified to play in the semi-final against Pakistan, won the match under the Duckworth/Lewis method.
Bangladesh who won the toss and elected to bat had to fight their way to put up 240-9 as the Afghan bowlers restricted them from a free-flow batting session.
Afghanistan were given a revised target to achieve 220 runs off 42 overs, which they had less trouble to reach.
