  • Missions get ready for Saudi amnesty rush

    The Sri Lankan diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia are gearing up to face a flood of expatriate workers seeking emergency travel documents to get back home after the authorities in the kingdom offered a six-month amnesty period for all foreigners staying illegally in that country to leave, a senior official said yesterday.
