Not only SBS, Members of Parliament were biased against Sri Lanka as they were lobbied by powerful LTTE lobbyists. This was going on for over twenty years, and Sri Lankan High Commission in Canberra was dead silent. I am a Sinhalese living in Australia for 35 years .Lots of programmes in SBS were biased, some films were shown on Tv and also SBS radio programmes were against SL government. Suddenly all changed when the LTTE lost, and now SBS is on a fact finding mission. Why now SBS, you had a few Tamil broadcasters and they were against SL. One newsreader ends her news reading at the main TV news MANNAKM. |
