Former President Rajapaksa's birthday to be marked by religious activities

The 70th birthday celebrations of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will be held on November 18 at 4.00 p.m. at the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi with religious activities, MEP Leader and MP Dinesh Gunawardena said yesterday. Addressing the media in Colombo yesterday, he said several opposition MPs, the Maha Sangha, religious dignitaries and the public will take part in the event.
