Chamara Sampath sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Uva PC

United Peoples Freedom Allaince (UPFA) councillor Chamara Sampath Dassanayake has been sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Uva Provincial Council. Mr Dassanayake, who was a one time Provincial Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs in the council taking over the duties as the Chief Minister (CM) after then CM Harin Fernando was elected to parliament and later appointed as a cabinet minister.
