Launch of 'The Cake that was Baked at Home'

The tenth death anniversary of the late Lakshman Kadirgamar PC and Member of Parliament was commemorated with a small ceremony held at the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS) yesterday at 5. 30 pm.
The keynote address, titled the 'Art of nuance - Lakshman Kadirgamar: A Sri Lankan statesman' was delivered by Dr. Radhika Coomaraswamy, international human rights advocate and former Under Secretary- General of the United Nations, Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict. The highlight of the commemoration event was the launch of 'The Cake that was Baked at Home,' written by his daughter, Ajita Kadirgamar and published by Vijitha Yapa Publications. 1 2 3 4 5 6
