Golf: 20th AmCham-FedEx Express Tourney at RCGC on September 29

The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Sri Lanka and Mountain Hawk Express (MHE) – Licensee of FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), in Sri Lanka, announce that the AmCham-FedEx Express Golf Tournament, will take place at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) on September 29. 

For the 15th consecutive year, MHE will be the Official Title Sponsor. 

Starting at 7.00am, this popular tournament in Sri Lanka’s golfing fraternity, will be played on an individual Stableford format, with players teeing off from different holes. 

“The AmCham – FedEx Express Golf Tournament is the Chamber’s premier and most eagerly anticipated sporting event in our calendar. We are honored to once again have MHE, as our Official Title Sponsor, further accentuating the wonderful relationship we share with them. They are also one of AmCham’s longstanding members, which makes this collaboration even more special,” stated AmCham Sri Lanka Executive Director Nuzreth Jalaldeen. 

MHE Executive Director Sanjeeva Abeygoonewardena, added, “MHE is honoured to be the Title Sponsor for the 20th AmCham-FedEx Golf Tournament. MHE has played a game changing role in supply chain for the past 32 years, through our fast, reliable and accurate services.” 

Speaking on the AmCham-FedEx Express Golf Tournament, MHE Director-Chief Executive Officer Chamila Bandara said, “MHE is proud to be a part of the AmCham-FedEx Express Golf Tournament for the 5th year running. We are committed to being the very best at what we do, and this is one reason why we are excited to sponsor this prestigious event. We are extremely pleased to support AmCham in their Golf tournament again this year.”
