Sajith's Matara rally to get underway tomorrow

A special rally is being organized by Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera in Matara in support of UNP Deputy Leader, Minister Sajith Premadasa at the upcoming presidential election and will get underway tomorrow (Aug 23).

The rally themed "Mulu Ratatama Sajith enawa. Obath Enna Matarata" will be held at the Sanath Jayasuriya grounds from 3 pm.

So far, the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and the National People's Power (NPP) have announced their candidates as Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and Anura Kumara Dissanayake respectively.

The UNP is yet to announce its candidate.
